Yesterday didn’t quite go as planned, which sucks, because I had actually stuck to my plan to make it work. Over the weekend, I cut off my boozing about 5p on Saturday, with Sunday in mind, knowing that if I didn’t sleep well, I would chickenshit out of my Monday workout.
I got to bed about 11p Sunday, which is great, but then I woke up repeatedly throughout the night. Not sure what was up. After lunch yesterday, I felt a slight headache coming on. By the time I got home, it was a little much, so I took some Aleve, laid down, and set my alarm for 7:30, just in case I fell asleep.
I woke up drenched in sweat, face down, at 10:15. Phone was under me, and I had no recollection of my alarm.
Very disappointing, given that I knew it was an important day. I’m going to have to slide things back a day, and skip rest on Thursday. I can afford that, since next week is the halfway done ‘rest’ week of core cardio/balance.
If I skip today, I will post a picture of my pre-workout belly. The plan is to post that at the end with my after photos, so as to not be totally ashamed, but this is what it’s come to.
Today - Pure Cardio + Cardio Abs; Weds - Cardio Power + Resistance Thurs - Plyometric Cardio Circuit; Fri- Pure Cardio + Cardio Abs; Sat - Plyometric Cardio Circuit.
I might replace Friday’s workout with a couple hours of basketball, since that more than makes up for 15 minutes of hardcore cardio.
